Oh Happy Day!!!!

So at 9:30 tonight when Li'l Miss had said good-nite to Dad, she wanted a second round with Mom. So I went back, and you know what she wanted????

My Little Mophead finally asked for a haircut!!

She's been apparently thinking this over quite seriously for the last few days and has really started hating how shaggy her hair is. This is a huge moment because she has been very insistent that she wants long hair (think Crystal Gayle.... Yikes!) So guess what's #1 on my to-do list for Friday morning? I doubt we'll be able to get in tomorrow, but likely next week we will. I told her that and she was quite happy and able to go to sleep in peace.

After our horrible failed attempt at a haircut just a week after getting home, I just dropped the subject. (Flashback: 7 year old screaming and flailing around the hair salon. Yikes!!) I figured that when her hair bugged her enough she'd come to me, so it was such a "Yes" moment for me, that my strategy worked! At least this time....
