Ttttthat's all folks....
I've just spent the past 3 hours drafting, revising, rewriting, and editing my letters of resignation for my assorted hospital privileges, as required by my contract -- which expires tomorrow. Such fun -- not.
What the heck did I do before the internet & Google when I needed to know how to do something???
I am such the mix of emotions right now, and it's about a 60/40 split on bad vs. evil. I know that this is a good move for me, but now it just feels so final.
On the Tabitha front, not too much turbulence the past few days for me. She apparently had the first of many friendship crisises today and either she or the other little girl said "You're not my friend any more." So there were tears & dramatics coming home from school today.
Otherwise, Miss Tab has suffered much consternation over the fact that four other kids on our street, ride their bikes to school and she doesn't. Told her this morning that she can't ride her bike to school until she rides well without training wheels. So guess what came off after dinner tonight. No still photos b/c I was using the video camera and caught some spectacular nascar-worthy crashes. She so cracks me up because after she took a face plant into the grass & sidewalk she bounces right up "I'm OK! I'm OK!" Like if she's not, I'm taking the bike away? The elbow & knee pads & helmet all came in very handy in spite of the "dork factor" -- yes, she is ever Miss Fashion conscious even while acting as a crash-test-dummy. In about an hour she made some serious progress, but no bike to school tomorrow. And Michael did a remarkable job of jogging alongside. Got his exercise for the day.
